CAN YOU CHARGE YOUR SMARTPHONE THROUGH WIRELESS CHARGER..??

This New technology of charging can charge multiple phones at the same time as long as they are in the range of wireless pad .If Qualcomm proves it true we may get this very soon in upcoming smartphones .

How does it actually work?

It uses a Qualcomm's Wipower technology is compliant with the Rezence wireless power standard.
If this type of charging arrives then smartphones would be made of a metal body. This would help in charging the phone.
this Wipower can operate at a frequency thats more tolerant of metal objects that come between your wireless charger and your phone.
This type of charging is also called INDUCTIVE CHARGING,it uses electromagnetic field to transfer the charge.
It uses an induction coil to create an electromagnetic field within the wireless range , and a second induction coil take power from this and converts it back it electric charge through this your smartphone gets charge .

ADVANTAGES:

1. Protected connections - No corrosion, when the electronics are enclosed away from water or oxygen.

2. Durability- without the need of constantly plug or unplugging  allows less wear and tear of sockets

3. Safer for medical implants.

4. Non - radiative energy transfer.

5. can be more convenient - no messy cables required.

Disadvantages:

1.Lower efficiency

2. Heating Issue

3. slow charging

4.less efficient
